Hello beautiful people!,♡♡♡
As the title says we are going to identify on what our skin-type and different types of skin-types! The main issues of each skin type and what to look out for products! I hope you find this post helpful and enjoy.♡♡♡
What are Skin-Types?
Everyone's skin is different from each other! We all have our unique features on our beautiful faces and a skin-type is one of them, to sum it all up a Skin-Type is basically on how our skin feels, reacts and it's anatomy/production. ( Yes everyone's skin anatomy is the same but you will get what I mean.) . Our Skin-Types can change through out the years it can either be because of our health for example or even the season.
The Different Types Of Skin-Types.
Oily Skin - Oily skin is when our oil-glands tend to produce a large amount of oil ( Sebum ) . Most people with oily skin have a bit of shine to their face.
Dry Skin - Dry skin is when our oil-glands tend to produce less oil and also it often has a flaky and rough surface.
Combination Skin - Combination Skin is when you have a mix of dry skin and oily skin for example an oily T-Zone and dry cheeks.
Acne-Prone Skin - Acne-Prone Skin is when our skin produces an alarming amount of sebum ( It my vary due to age. ) thus it forms into pimples. Normally around the pimple it tends to be very red and inflamed.
Sensitive/Reactive Skin - Sensitive/Reactive skin is when our skin tends to be more flushed when we try out different products or for example do our skin-care.
Mature Skin - Mature Skin is when we have fine-lines and wrinkles and the skin is often more dry and saggy than others.
Normal Skin - Normal Skin is when our skin produces a normal amount of oil and it isn't too dry. You have no shine or dry patches.
Please note that each Skin-Type can mix with each other for example, you can have dry skin and have acne-prone skin. ( It mostly happens in Adult-Acne which I'll have an entire blog about.) So get to know your skin and listen to it.
How Do I Identify My Skin-Type?
To Identify your Skin-Type you can do a simple test. You basically wash your face with your cleanser and pat it dry make sure to not put anything else afterwards, then wait about 30 minutes and gently put your index-finger on your face and slowly move around your face. Then afterwards look in the mirror and see how your skin looks. Then match up to the above list.
